Chamomile oil, extracted from the daisy-like flowers, is one of the oldest medicinal and beauty herbs and was used as a disinfectant during WW2. It is rich in azulene, a natural anti-inflamatory and healing agent.
Eucalyptus oil, extracted from the twigs and leaves of the tree, is a powerful antiseptic yet is perfectly safe and gentle for use on the skin in soap form. It soothes muscular aches and pains, has a cooling effect on the skin and helps heal abrasions - although it is probably wider known for its excellent decongestant properties.
